Feeding America’s MealConnect allows business donors like you—restaurants, caterers, hotels, and other food service providers—to redirect excess food to families in need. Start by uploading information about the excess food available for donation, and select a day and time you would like to have it picked up by a trained volunteer or meal program partner. The MealConnect app will connect them to a local food bank partner—such as a soup kitchen or food pantry—where your food will go directly to our neighbors in need. Since 2014, MealConnect has helped divert more than 1.5 billion pounds of landfill-destined food to community organizations across the US.
