In honor of Hunger Action Month, The J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation, the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation, and The Morningstar Foundation are standing together in support of our neighbors who are facing food insecurity. These foundations will match all gifts made to the food bank dollar-for-dollar, up to $1.5 million, during September and October.
With food insecurity poised to rise in the Greater Washington region by up to 60% this year due to the impacts of COVID-19, taking action against hunger has never been more important. When you give, your donation makes it possible for a child to focus in school, for a mom to make it through her night shift and pay her family’s bills, and for a senior citizen to avoid life-threatening illnesses. Your generosity can transform lives. Thank you!
