Capital Area Food Bank will hold a convening conference on food insecurity among seniors in Washington, DC. This gathering aims to understand the current landscape of organizations that are serving seniors, discover gaps in services, and strategize how we can address those gaps in order to reach as many food-insecure seniors as possible.
The conference will be held at the Kellogg Conference Hotel on the campus of Gallaudet University in Northeast DC on Thursday, May 16, 2024. The program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and continental breakfast and lunch will be included.
Due to an enthusiastic response, registration is now closed. If you are interested in attending, please contact Marian Peele at mpeele@capitalareafoodbank.org.
