How To Help

Solving hunger will take everyone. Our food assistance partners, donors, and volunteers make our annual distribution of more than 60 million meals possible. If you want to make a difference, there’s a role for you too.

We have so much food in this country, so people might not know that hunger exists. They don’t realize how easy it is to help people if they knew more about the issue and how they could sign up at a local food bank to volunteer or donate.

Together, We Can Create Brighter Futures

Whether you want to make a monetary donation, host a virtual fundraiser, or help out in our distribution center, there are many ways to give to the food bank. In our region, nearly 1.5 million people do not always know where their next meal will come from. Together, we can make a difference and improve the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.

There’s a Role for You

Donate Money

Big or small, any amount you give will help us provide equitable access to food and opportunities to people in need. One hundred dollars can provide 200 meals.

Donate Food

We rely on support from retailers, community groups, and people like you to help us get good food onto the tables of those who need it.

Volunteer

Both groups and individuals can help us in a variety of ways. Grab a friend and help improve the lives of your neighbors.

Corporate Engagement

Local and national companies are essential partners in the food bank’s work. From mobilizing employee volunteers, to sponsoring cause marketing campaigns, to investing in our groundbreaking program pilots, small businesses—as well as those with global reach—are helping to make real change in our local communities.

Planned Giving

Answer a few simple questions about your planned gift and learn how your support can turn into a legacy of helping those in need.

Virtual Fundraising

Hosting a virtual fundraiser is an easy way to rally your family, friends, colleagues, and other community members to help feed our neighbors in need. Fundraising pages are easy to create, personalize, and share with others.
