Hunger and inattentiveness strongly correlate and for the 16 million children at risk of hunger in the US, it has long-lasting consequences.

Join the Capital Area Food Bank at Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club for a lunch that will leave you feeling full and fulfilled.

We’ll be at four Giant Food locations around the Washington metro area tomorrow December 12 from 6am – 8 pm, collecting food and funds to feed the over half a million residents who rely on the food bank to feed their families.

Please come out to one of the four sites for Stuff-A-Truck, and bring nonperishable food items to donate for the nearly 700,000 residents struggling with hunger in our area.

As a way to say thanks, we’ve paired up with Uber to reward you for delivering goodwill to the food bank this holiday season.

Despite the frigid temperatures, WHUR listeners and the entire metro region community came out to help feed families during the Thanksgiving holidays.
